At the loss conference, I picked up a few brochures entitled:

Here is a link and I thought it to be VERY helpful.

My state isn't on their list, but I do think this is important. It's not a pleasant thought, but it is something we cannot ignore. We cannot leave these decisions up to our loved ones who will already be upset as it is. We need to make things as easy as possible for them while we still can.
Reminds me that I need to get with an attorney and a medical research facility soon to make my plans. I plan to donate my entire body to medical research, but if no one knows that, it won't happen. Thank you for this reminder. _________________ holly 39

We put on these Final Affairs seminars in the community and they are very popular.
Believe it or not you can be rejected if your body is not what they are looking for. There are fees also so it is a good thing to check into. _________________ Mom to furbabies Amber (golden retriever) and Peeker kitty (torby-Tortoiseshell and Tabby)

At 63, my body is *already* not what I am " looking for ". Post - mortem body donation rejection - not fitting in *finally* - after a lifetime of " you don't understand 'cause you've never been married...don't have children " what a thought.
Thanks Diane, for the informational link and thanks for a reminder to get my legal things in order ! |
